Free Children 18:3 Download

Children 18:3 is a band I am not really that familiar with, however a quick Google search shows that they are a punk band from Minnesota who recently signed to Tooth and Nail records. They have a new CD coming out soon, and have previously released two EP independently. Today’s free song is from the first of the two, Places I Don’t Want To Go. It’s called “Don’t Even Try”, and it’s free on their Purevolume profile. I was impressed by it. Usually, punk bands are pretty predictable and sound just like everyone else. I am pleased to say Children 18:3 stands out as some one to watch in 2008.

They actually only live about 45 minutes from me, I wasn’t sold on their earlier stuff, but their ‘Songs of Desperation’ (basically a demo from which it appears at least a few songs from their new one will come) was good enough to hit my top 10 list for that year. I’m pumped to see what they sound like with some decent production values.
