New Music from P.O.D.
This just in: P.O.D. is giving away the title track to their new CD, When Angels and Serpents Dance. I only just got it myself, but it’s really cool. The download link is at the top-left corner of the page. Kind of hard to see. Anyway enjoy your music.

Its an ok song, but the symbol in the center of the O in P.O.D. is a Celtic symbol. The Celts were Pagans, not exactly something you want to link to a Christian blog.
As far as I know it’s a older Christian symbol, possibly borrowed from the Celts. However, I am not a ancient-history professor, so I am going to email a friend. If you’ll check back you can see what he says.
Alright. If you grab a New King James bible by Nelson, you’ll notice the symbol on either the cover or the inside page.
Though the symbol does have pagan origins, early Christian used it to explain the concept of the Trinity, kind of like we borrowed a pagan holiday to celebrate Christmas on. A lot like Paul in Acts 17.
