Floodgate Records has some of the best under-the-radar artists in Christian music today. Artists like Number One Gun and The Myriad both began on Floodgate, before moving on to fame. They also have some of the best alternative rock bands.

If you were to surf over to the Floodgate Records Media page right now, you’d find 8 free mp3′s, representing the best Floodgate has to offer, including:

• Yellow Second – “Chance of Sunbreaks”
• Mourning September – “Closer to Closure”
• Cool Hand Luke – “The Foster”

• Dennison Marrs – “Dancing Over Me” (Unfortunately, the mp3 is corrupted)

I was surprised when I first found this. I wasn’t expecting to hear ska (The Insyderz) or heavy metal (East West). Once I got over the shock, I realized that it was actually pretty good stuff.
