cool nice list
Btw, the David Crowder song Oh God Where Are You Now? is actually a cover of Sufjan Stevens. Sufjan Stevens is quite Christian and amazingly good. oh, and Sufjan Stevens puts most of these artists to shame weird song title wise.
Actually James is right. Sufjans Stevens does have some truly weird songs titles. It’s also worth mentioning that the DC Talk title listed is also a cover song.
[...] yes, both songs were runner’s up in my “Under the Watchful Eyes Of T.J. Eckleburg” {And Other Weird Song Titles} list.)
-The Chariot on [...]
Don the Reader – “Ted the Small Town Romantic”
underOATH – “Anyone can dig a hole, but it takes a real man to call it home”
The Stockholm Robot – “A Tree called Ed”
Norma Jean – “Liarscenic-Creating a universe of Discourse”
Have you heard FM Static’s new one?
“Boy Moves to a New Town with Optimistic Outlook”.
oh, and I think it’s just an interlude, but Willet has one called “You Don’t Ask Where The Snake Came From, You Just Kill It”.
Actually, there are several weird song names on their CD “Virus”.
No, I hadn’t Rachel. Those are both great. Those it’s not public (yet) I’ve secretly been stockpiling for another weird song title list, and almost all of the comments on this post are going to be on it. It’s going to be pretty sweet.

Just wanted to let people know of the new Christian Music X-Change website at cmxmusic.com (or http://www.cmxmusic.com – either works). Used and new Christian CDs, DVDs, LPs, tapes, magazines and more. Lots of rare and out of print stuff. Thanks!
don’t forget about Relient K’s “The Only thing worse than beating a dead horse is betting on one”
I’m surprised that no one’s mentioned any songs from Tourniquet yet. Strange song titles is their trademark! Here are some of my favorites:
Pathogenic Ocular Dissonance
Proprioception (The Line Knives Syndrome)
Gelatinous Tubercles of Purulent Ossification
Claustrospelunker
Architeuthis
Here’s another one:
(Repeat/Return) or When The Seventh Angel Sounded His Trumpet, And There Were Loud Voices In Heaven, Which Said: “The Kingdom Of The World Has Become The Kingdom Of Our Lord And Of His Christ, And He Will Reign Foreverandever Etc…” by David Crowder*Band!!
13 seconds of pure awesomeness!
