Captive Mad Man Cries: Tooth & Nail’s Latest Sampler

Tooth & Nail Records have given away quite a few great samplers (see here, here, and here) and just released the huge Fuel Sampler a few months ago. Now, they’ve teamed up with Amazon.com to offer another, smaller sampler entitled Tooth & Nail Records Amazon Sampler.
The key here is quality over quantity. The sampler only has three songs, one from Haste the Day, The Becoming, and Sever Your Ties. Remember the old cliche “good things come in small packages”? Well, in this case it’s true. All three songs are amazing! The track listing:
- The Becoming – “I Cry”
- Haste The Day – “Mad Man”
- Sever Your Ties – “Captive”
“Mad Man” is Haste the Day’s first single from their latest CD Dreamer. Solid speed metal song. Both The Becoming and Sever Your Ties are fresh new bands on T&N. Both are bands to watch. “I Cry” is all about the feeling of guilt, and a plea for grace, well worth the download. Finally, my favorite song, “Captive”. I don’t even know how to begin describing it. Just know it’s good. Enjoy!

By the way, as James mentioned, there is one more sampler on the way. Look for it later in the week!

LOL It’s weird. But thanks for thanks for the link
Yeah, this is the mini sampler of sampler week (unofficial, sort of). But trust me when I say that we have saved the best for last.
I wish I could get this, but my OS is too low (barely). Hopefully they will give the HTD one away in their next sampler. But if they don’t that okay, cause I’m not that big a fan of theirs.
how do you download the sampler….? im confused..
why do we have to use amazon’s crappy downloader? i hate all the hoops you have to jump through and sacrifices you have to make (i.e. install another piece of junk on your machine that will help it run even slower).
I don’t know, but at least you can download it at all. I have Mac 10.3.9, so I can’t.
Hey, Matt, I heard something about a Relient K download on the radio. Here’s the site: http://www.relientk.skyroo.com I’m not sure how it works. I think you have to buy the album to get the download. But I thought you might be interested, and you’d know how to get details.

Well, I was on it right before I typed that comment. I don’t know why it’s not working now.

Chi: The sampler is basically a free CD on Amazon. To download it you need to visit the site, have a account, and “purchase” the free download, after which you need to download and install Amazon Mp3 Downloader, and then, you can finally get the songs.
Brian G.: I feel the same way. I have Rhapsody, Wal-Mart, and Amazon. Definitely annoying.
Kiwi: It’s really weird, I can’t get your link to work, but when I googled “relient k skyroo” it came up right away. It looks like if you buy the CD, you can immediately get two of the songs. I think that’s what they were probably talking about.
