Divine Metal Distro Digital Sampler Vol. 1

If loud, brutal, and aggressive are words you’d use to describe your favorite songs, you might just want to pay attention to this:  Divine Metal Distro, a distribution company specializing in Christian hardcore & metal is giving away a free 15 song sampler featuring some very raw, very heavy music from artist’s they work with.  Here’s the tracklist:

1. Narnia – “Kings Will Come”
2. Thresher – “Here I Am”
3. Michael Phillips – “Anthem”
4. Ultimatum – “Never”
5. Elgibbor – “Purity and Blood”
6. Nephesh – “A Cold Breath”
7. Ancient Plague – “1348″
8. Hortor – “Our Wrath Is Against Satanism And Blasphemous Symbols”
9. Broken Flesh – “Son of Perdition”
10. I Built The Cross – “Misguided Ministry”
11. Future’s End – “Inner Self”
12. Venia – “A Sigh of Redemption”
13. Edgend – “Internal Fire”
14. Heaven’s Force – “Hell Lover”
15. Myrath – “Tempest Of Sorrows”

I think the song titles should give you a pretty fair idea of what to expect.  To be totally honest, this isn’t my thing at all, but if you enjoy it, more power to ya.  To download the sampler, you’ll need to visit Divine Metal Distro’s website and sign-up for an account, after which you’ll be able to “buy” the sampler for free and download it.

   Brian: If you like indie hardcore & metal, probably. If you don’t, well, probably not. Does that help?

   Elise: If you bought it, you ought to be able to find the download the link by click the “My Account” link, logging in if you weren’t already, and looking under “Order Information”. If you click on the order with the sampler, there should be a link to download it.

   This is an interesting compilation. I do not care for the Death and Black Metal. And most of it I could do without. A lot of very old school sounds with the others. But the band on here called “Thresher” is amazing. It was worth the download just for that one song. I am currently looking for some more of there music. Kind of a Metallica feel. Definitaly interested in more groups like this.
