Free Track from Paper Tongues

Free music today from a new group called Paper Tongues.  I first heard about these guys when iTunes featured their song “Trinity” as a Discovery Download for a week.  I had never heard of them before, but I read they had toured with Switchfoot, so I decided to give them a try, and boy am I glad I did.  The band pulls pop, rock, soul, reggae, rapcore, & alternative influences together flawlessly to create a sound unlike anything I’ve ever heard.

I did a bit of research after that, and and asked around, and it sounds like it’s a band of Christians who make music in the mainstream, not unlike Paramore or Jordin Sparks.  I can’t be 100% sure until I can find an interview with the band, but judging by their lyrics I’d be surprised if they weren’t.

Unfortunately, “Trinity” is no longer available from iTunes, however, another song from the band, “Ride To California”, is available as a free download from Walmart MP3.  It’s diverse, fun, different, and personally, I like this one even better then I like “Trinity”.  Don’t miss it.

   Right after I downloaded it I found the video on Music Choice On Demand. Look like they would put on a great live show. Man the song grows on you too!
