Free Christmas House of Heroes
Wow, it seems as if AmazonMP3 loves giving us free music. You can currently get House of Heroes’ version of the song, ‘Silent Night’ from Amazon. Even though they’re an upbeat rock band, they still do a great version of ‘Silent Night’. I personally think it’s one of the better ones out there. Anyway, in case if you were wondering, the song also was just released in HoH’s The Christmas Classics EP, which you can also buy at Amazon with the $3.00 credit Matt had mentioned a few days ago. Free Downloads from Corey Crowder
Today, you can get two free downloads from Corey Crowder’s new and upcoming album Lost & Found (not to be confused with The Lost Get Found by Brit Nicole). As some of you might know, Corey Crowder was a signed artist under Tooth&Nail, but apparently, he’s now an independent artist. The neat thing about getting these two downloads is that Corey Crowder allows you to ‘name your price’ for them and change the file format (for you audiophiles). Now you can price it at any price you think its fair, but I did $0.00. Either way, once you type in your price, you will receive an email, which will redirect you to get your download. I haven’t listened to any of the songs, but I have heard of some of Corey Crowder’s music, so I’ll know that it’ll be great.
Free Downloads from TAN, 3rd Day, Glory Revealed
Ok, so this past week I’ve been getting a bunch of emails with free downloads. I don’t know exactly what email lists I’ve signed up to get them, but they all have external links to the emails for the downloads. First off, there are three downloads from Third Day, Chynna and Vaughan, and Glory Revealed II (with Mac Powell, Shane Everett, and Brian Littrell) in an email I got from HearItFirst. I highly recommend you to sign up to HearItFirst’s email newsletters, because they always have some awesome free downloads every week.
Next off, I got an email for exclusive free downloads from Hillsong United for their upcoming I-Heart Revolution: We’re In This Together Film which comes out Novemeber 4th. Though they don’t have free music downloads, there are three videos and one ringtone you get. You can get the ringtone to the song ‘The First and the Last’ and a behind the scenes video for the making of the album Faith-Hope-Love. You can also download the trailer and teaser to the I-Heart Film at their website as well.

Last but not least, is the TAN download. You might be wondering what and who TAN is. For conciseness for the blog title, I shortened ‘Tenth Avenue North’ to TAN, so please don’t be too confused. They were featured just a few days ago for a free download to their current single ‘Hold My Heart.’ This time though, you can get their previous single, ‘By Your Side’ by simply just entering your email and Zipcode. While you’re at it, you can also watch the moving music video for the same song.

Our Heart’s Hero Free Album
Okay, so I was looking through the tweets given out by those I was following, and I find out that if you’re one of the first one thousand followers of Our Heart’s Hero’s Twitter, you’ll be receiving a their new worship album which releases on December 1st. Once I heard that, I instantly followed @OurHeartsHero.
Currently, Our Heart’s Hero only has 368 followers. They’ve got plenty to go, so if you have a twitter, you should go follow @OurHeartsHero. They don’t supply any specifics on how they’re giving out the album (mailing it, or a free download). I’m sure they’ll come out with more details as the release date approaches. Anyway, be sure you get to be one of the those first thousand followers so that you don’t miss out on this chance to get a free album!
Free Song from Skillet
Not too long ago, Matt had posted a poll asking for the album releases everyone was looking forward to this year. At the end of the voting, Skillet’s Awake had came in second. Well, for those of you who voted for Skillet, I’ve got some good news for you (unless you’ve gone off and bought the album already). For a week or so, you can download the song “Never Surrender” off of Tangle’s homepage. Be sure you get a chance to visit Tangle, and to get your free download from Skillet.

Free Download, “Love Is On the Move”
Alright, I’ve got a free download by Leeland from their upcoming album, Love Is On the Move. All you need to do is fill out a simple survey, and it will link you to a free download of the title track. The song is about God’s great love for us, and how it comes to heal the broken and lonely and to set the sinners free. Lead singer Leeland Mooring’s explains why this song is the title track:
The biggest thing that I could ever understand, or get from God, is how much God loves me…Love is the most powerful thing we can release into the world. It doesn’t matter how much anger, hate, violence or sin is surrounding us, the most powerful thing we can give someone is love. That’s why we titled the record ‘Love Is On The Move.’

Free Songs from Phillips, Craig and Dean
Today I’ve got a couple of free songs from the long time CCM trio, Phillips, Craig and Dean. These three full-time pastors have been singing together since 1991 and are still releasing new albums, which is a thought that blows my mind. Anyway, you might have heard their latest single, “Revelation Song.” In fact, I believe it is currently the #1 played song across the nation on Christian radio. Sadly, this is not the song that is available for a free download.
However, you can get three other great songs from this worship trio. Two from their recently released “Fearless” album and one from their previous album “Top of My Lungs.” The three songs are from three different sites, Tangle.com, GospelMusicChannel.com, and FreeCCM.com. Be sure you pick each of them up!

Ignorance is Your New Best Friend
You might be wondering what I’m talking about, but those are the very lyrics from Paramore’s latest single, “Ignorance” from their upcoming album, Brand New Eyes. And yes, today you are able to download that very song for free from Real Player’s music store, RhapsodyMP3. I have been following Rhapsody’s MP3 store for a while, having that they feature free daily music downloads. All of it is mainstream music, but every now and then there’s a song from Christian artists in that market. Anyway, Rhapsody will be featuring Paramore’s “Ignorance” as the free song of the day soon, but you can still get it early.
Also, there’s been some discussion about Paramore and other Christian artists in the secular music market in the comments from Matt’s post. If any of you have a problem with listening to that kind of music, you do not have to download the song. I’ll leave it up to you and your personal convictions to get it or not. Anyway, for those of you who have no problem with listening to Paramore or other Christian crossover artists, “Ignorance” will only be available for a few days, so be sure you download it ASAP. Free Amazon MP3 Downloads
Ok, I’ve got a few free songs for those of you who live in the US from Amazon’s MP3 store. You can get 33Miles’ latest single, “Jesus Calling”, and former American Idol contestant, Phil Stacey’s single “You’re Not Shaken.” Both songs are on the Christian music radio charts, and they sound really great. As some of you might know from watching season 6 of American Idol, Phil Stacey is a proclaimed Christian. Since then, he’s been signed under Reunion Records (the same company who brought you Tenth Avenue North, Brandon Heath, Casting Crowns) and is planning to come out with an album later this year. Anyway, you can pick up both of these songs up at Amazon.com.

Also from Amazon, is a free five song Mother’s Day/Father’s Day sampler from Southern Gospel singer, Bill and Gloria Gaither. I know it’s well past Mother’s Day and Father’s Day, but better late than never, right? So for those of you who are fans of Southern Gospel Music, be sure to pick these up. If not, you should still get it, after all, it’s free!

Just a week and half ago, Ansley posted a free EP from the group ROOTDOWN, a pop/rock/reggae band created in 2007 by Paul Wright (which he also leads). Well today, you can get their latest radio single, titled ‘Taking Over Me.’ It’s a great song, with just a good message. The song is about letting God’s love take over us and freeing us from the shackles of our broken lives and our sin. In Paul Wright’s own words: “This song is a reminder of how God’s love can transform us and turn the messes we make in life into masterpieces in His timing.” You can read the entire story behind the song and download it at their promotion website for the new single.
