FAQ
Question: Is this legal?
Answer: Yes! If there’s a download I’m not sure about, I won’t post it. I work hard to verify that everything I post about is legal. I know, it’s awesome.
Question: Are the songs, like, actually free?
Answer: Yep. It wouldn’t be free if you had to pay for it, would it? Sometimes, you’ll be asked to give your email address or sign-up for a mailing list, or other information, but everything is free, unless otherwise labeled.
Question: Is downloading music online safe?
Answer: Usually. Everything on this site should be perfectly safe.
Question: Why did the chicken cross the road?
Answer: You know, I really don’t know. I just threw that in to see if you are paying attention.
Question: Can my band (or my friend’s band) get featured here?
Answer: Sure. They just need to a Christian band and have a song that folks can download for free. If you are interested, you can email here at: freechristianmusicblog(at)gmail(dot)com
Question: Could I advertise my website or blog here?
Answer: Possibly, shoot me an email at freechristianmusicblog(at)gmail(dot)com and we’ll talk.
Question: How do you decide if a band is Christian?
Answer: That’s a good question. It’s not easy sometimes. Generally, the basic rule is if 1. the band is marketed to Christians or 2. the band members claim to be Christians. After that, I’ll look at the song lyrics, the band’s website, Wikipedia, interviews, etc, to decide. It’s a complicated business, and TFCMB does reserve the right to not feature any band or song if we so choose.
