Free Easter Sampler from Walmart MP3
Alright, so I know Easter was last Sunday, but better later then never right I say, especially when there’s free music involved. Walmart MP3 is giving away a 21-song free sampler that they’re calling Easter Soundtrack: 2010. According to the website, it’s all “inspiration” artists, which can mean a lot of different things, but I can identify 7 of the artists as Christian for sure, and despite being primarily unsigned or under the radar artists, I’m fairly sure about the rest. If you know either way on any of these, please leave a comment and let me know!
- NewFire – “Beautiful Easter Morning”
- Thi’sl – “Windows Down”
- Tamela Mann – “The Lord’s Prayer”
- Sackcloth Fashion – “Direction”
- Words In Windows – “More Divine”
- Kaboose – “I Give You”
- Perry LaHaie – “You Are The King”
- RedCloud ft. Jayo Felony, Eek-A-Mouse, & Tonéx – “Guns & Roses”
- Sara Renner – “All For Love”
- Blasé – “My Gift”
- Nia Allen – “It’s Gonna Be Alright”
- Norman Hutchins – “I’ve Been Redeemed”
- Martha Munizzi – “I Recieve Your Love”
- Braille – “Blessed Man”
- Sup the Chemist – “Understand”
- Green Olive Tree – “Universe”
- Wayburn Dean – “I Need A Savior”
- Air Five – “I Will Carry You”
- Kathleen Carnali – “Dangerous Prayer”
- Young Decent – “God’s Way”
- BreatheDeep – “You Came For Me”
Out of that whole list, the only song I’m familiar with is Air Five’s pop-rock “I Will Carry You”, which, by the way, I’d recommend. I haven’t had an opportunity to listen through the whole thing yet, so I don’t have much more to say besides this: He is risen!
Free Mixtape from Kaboose

Free music today from Kaboose. The Minnesota-born rapper, Syntax Records, and SphereOfHipHop.com have teamed up to offer the Bits & Pieces mixtape up for free download. You can download it on Enjoy Hip-Hop Responsibly, the official Sphere of Hip-Hop blog. I haven’t heard it yet, but Kaboose is generally a great artist, so I have some high hopes for this. Enjoy!

Also, Sphere of Hip-Hop has got some new songs on their massive list of free songs. Sheer volume prevents me from listing the tracks, but there’s some good ones on there. Check it out!
Update & Correction
First off, I’m happy to announce that the free download from Remedy Drive is now working. You can get the detail on my original post. “Stand Up” is a great song if you haven’t gotten it yet.
Also, I have a correction to make. A while back I featured a song I attributed to RedCloud, “The Three Kings”. Turns out it was actually a collaboration between several Syntax Records artists, specifically RedCloud, Kaboose, and Jeremiah Bonds. It also appears that the official name for the song is “Thee Three Kings”. I’m sorry for the mistake, I try to avoid them, but occasionally they do happen. There does happen to be a silver lining to this one though.
Since I’m on the topic of, it gives me an excellent excuse to mention the Rap Fest Presents Vol. 2 sampler, the 38 track free CD that “Thee Three Kings” is from. Regular commenter Aylaeh alerted me to it back on the original post. You can download the whole thing at ILLSPOT.net. Enjoy!
Free Hip-Hop from RedCloud & Kaboose

Free music today from RedCloud and Kaboose. Both artists have had songs recently added to Fuse.tv’s free music page, “Tapitio” from RedCloud and “Going Outta Control” by Kaboose.
While I haven’t heard “Going Outta Control” (yet) I can positively recommend “Tapatio”. It’s a hard hitting, yet generally fun rap about life in Hawthorne, and most importantly, Tapatio hot sauce, which, according to the site, is “the greatest hot sauce in the world”. I wouldn’t know (I haven’t tried it) but it sounds good.
And even if you don’t like hot sauce, you can still enjoy the music.

Hip-Hop Overdose
Hip-hop fans rejoice! I have hundreds of free Christian rap songs. Seriously, what I’m about to tell you about is the biggest amount of gospel hip-hop I’ve ever seen in one spot before.
The website is SphereOfHipHop.com. They have a unbelievable amount of free music. It’s crazy. It’s awesome. From Applejaxx to YSG-Timothy, they have it all. Due to the amount of music available, I won’t try to name all the artists. They do have awesome tracks from John Reuben, KJ-52, GRITS, the Cross Movement, Verbs, Playdough, and LA Symphony. Really, you need to see it for yourself. I recommend just picking something that looks interesting and downloading away.
Even if you aren’t big on rap, you still may like some of the songs on the list. For example, “Are You Real?” by KJ-52 featuring Kutless is an anthematic rock song which was featured on the X series. Also, John Reuben and Matt Thiessen of Relient K did an awesome, ridiculously catchy song called “Nuisance”. And then there’s LA Symphony’s “Timeless”… I highly recommend all three to everyone.
Another awesome part of the list is the exclusive songs. Even if you own every Christian hip-hop CD ever, you can probably find some new music. Lots of remixes, and instrumentals. Even a few Christmas songs! It’s just awesome.
