Kari Jobe
The Weekly Downloads: Apr. 20 ~ Apr. 26
After missing several weeks of the Weekly Downloads, and posting in general (long story short, I’ve been unbelievably busy), I’ve got a lot of catching up to do – hope you’re ready for a lot of music!
First up this week, iTickets. This week, they’ve got free downloads from Kari Jobe and Ted Rastatter ,with “Everyone Needs A Little” and “Arrows”, respectively.
Next, Tangle.com has a free download new Centricity Records artist Sixteen Cities’ song “Come As You Are”. They remind me a bit of Tenth Avenue North, which is definitely a good thing.
New Release Tuesday has two free songs this week, worship band Deluge’s “Unshakable” and urban/hip-hop group 21:03′s brand new song “Favor”. Neither are quite my style, but you’re more then welcome to check them out.
Next up, GMC. Thankfully, they archive their weekly downloads, so the free songs from the last three weeks are all still available. The tracks are Israel Houghton’s “Every Prayer”, Karen Peck & New River’s “Why Can’t All God’s Children Get Along”, and Kari Jobe’s rendition of “Revelation Song”. I’m not going to spoil the results, but it’s worth mentioning that all three songs were nominated for Dove Awards this year. Check it out!

Another website that keeps their free downloads available is FreeCCM, and they’ve got an very impressive 6 free downloads available at the moment. Here’s the list:
- The Afters – “Tonight”
- Bart Milliard – “Pass Me Not, O Gentle Saviour”
- Tim Timmons – “A Thousand Amens (Doxology)”
- Darlene Zschech – “Pray”
- Decyfer Down – “Burn Back The Sun”
- Caedmon’s Call – “Hold The Light”
Out of that list, I can personally recommend The Afters, Decyfer Down, and Darlene Zschech’s songs, all three are great. Enjoy!
There’s actually one more download worth mentioning this week – iTunes is featuring the latest single from a new country group, The Band Perry, for free. Personally, I don’t know much about them, but according to insideREVOLUTION, the group’s lead singer, Kimberly Perry, used to be signed to EMICMG and opened for Jump5 & ZOEgirl.
I don’t know any details beyond that, but I’m impressed with their song (which is called “If I Die Young”). If you enjoy country music you might just want to check this three-sibling group out. I’m glad I did.

The Weekly Downloads: Dec. 1 ~ Dec. 7
I’m seeing a lot more Christmas music this week, with almost all of my regular websites featuring at least one Christmas song, plus a sprinkling of normal music for a decent week all around.
First up, iTickets has two free songs, The Sonflowerz’s Christmas song “Beautiful Miracle” and an early Jonny Diaz song called “You Are A Storm”. “You Are A Storm” is actually back from Jonny’s independant days, from an album called They Need Love. Check it out!
Also free this week, Video Rocket has John Reuben’s zany music video for “Town Folk”. It’s actually a retelling of a several stories from the Old Testament, in a rather crazy, but still entertaining way. Worth getting for sure.

Next up, Gospel Music Channel has two free downloads this week, a Christmas song from Trin-i-tee 5:7 and the radio edit version of Shane & Shane’s great song “Everything is Different”.

-Shane & Shane’s “Everything Is Different (Radio Edit)” on Gospel Music Channel-
FreeCCM.com has got a free Christmas song from Todd Agnew called “Did You Know?”, from Todd’s Christmas album Do You See What I See?. FreeCCM is supposed to be featuring exclusively Christmas music this week, so I’m holding my breathe for Stellar Kart’s “Punk the Halls”.

Last but not least this week, New Release Tuesday has a free download of Kari Jobe’s “Adore Him”, and if you missed it last week, you can also download Dreampilot’s song “Comedown” – which, as I said before, is a very catchy song. Enjoy!

Well, that wraps up this week – look for more music on Tuesday!
The Weekly Downloads: Nov. 10 ~ 17
Wow, another week has come and gone – and with it, another nice long list of free song downloads. Actually, I’m quite happy with this week’s selection, especially the Vota download – “Honestly” might honestly be the best song I’ve heard from them. Anyway, let’s get this party started!
First up, an artist I know lots of people will be excited about: Skillet! FreeCCM.com has their song “It’s Not Me It’s You” available now, and it’s aggressive, loud, rocking, & well, it’s Skillet.

Gospel Music Channel actually has two new songs this week (either that, or I’m just a week behind, I’m not sure.) Either way though, you can download the radio edit of Byron Cage’s song “Faithful to Believe” and Claude Deuce’s Christmas song “Every Day Is Christmas” for free.
-Byron Cage & “Faithful to Believe”-
-Claude Deuce & “Everyday Is Christmas”-
Speaking of Christmas music, iTicket’s has Kari Jobe’s song “Adore Him” from the Christmas compilation Worship And Adore: A Christmas Offering, plus a free song from Josh Wilson’s new EP, a whimsical love song called “How to Fall”. Both a well worth downloading if you ask me.

If you don’t have Sara Groves’ new song “Different Kinds of Happy” yet, you’ve got another chance to download it this week from New Release Tuesday. I don’t know about you, but I really like the artwork for Sara’s new album, somehow, it fits.

As I mentioned earlier, Vota’s song “Honestly” is one of the downloads available this week for free, and it’s my favorite of all the available songs. It’s a slow, piano driven song, it’s just open, and raw, and honest, and beautiful. I highly recommend this one.

Wrapping it up with week, VideoRocket has a free download of KJ-52′s latest, “He Did That”, which happens to feature some of the best breaking dancing I’ve seen in a long time. I wish I could do that…

Free Songs from Kari Jobe, B. Reith, & Connersvine
iTicket’s updates their free music page tonight, so thanks to my forgetfulness, you’ve got just a few hours to download this week’s songs. Sorry, I should have written this up last week.
For a little while, anyway, you can download B. Reith’s “Go On”, Connersvine’s “Glory Be”, and new artist Kari Jobe’s “Revelation Song”. The amazing people at Integrity Music were nice enough to send me a copy of Kari’s new CD, and it’s really good. She has a beautiful voice, plus she’s a good songwriter. Definitely worth checking out.
Again, sorry I’m cutting this so close. I’ll try to make be a bit more timely next time. Also, if you’re on Twitter, you might want to follow @itickets. Then you’ll be sure to to catch all of the free downloads.
