KJ-52
The Weekly Downloads
Note: All of the downloads on the post (with the possible exception of KJ-52 and Abandon Kansas) will no longer be available tomorrow, so make sure you get them soon.

There’s lots of free music available this week, but probably the biggest name is David Crowder Band’s new song and latest single “How He Loves”, from DCB’s new CD Church Music which releases tomorrow. It’s a free download this week from Tangle.com, and to quote TFCMB reader Razgriz:
“Yo - Tangle.com is featuring “How He Loves” by DC*B. I LOVE THAT SONG!!!! Get an article on it NOW!”
So you see I’m really just following orders with this post.

NewReleaseTuesday.com has two downloads this week, Bethany Dillon’s “Everyone to Know” and KJ-52′s “Let It Go”. You do need to be a NRT member to download the songs, but both songs are pretty good if you’re signed up. And if you are, make sure to send me a friend request, I’d love to be your friend on NRT.

Also available for the rest of the week, Chasing Victory’s music video for “Wolves” – which you can download from VideoRocket. It was directed by Endeavor Media, the same company that did House of Heroes’ “In the Valley of the Dying Sun”, Owl City’s “Fireflies”, and TobyMac’s “Lose My Soul”, plus a lot more. “Wolves” was one of the earlier videos Endeavor did, but is still pretty entertaining.
Now, last but not least, you can download Abandon Kansas’s song “I Wonder If It’s Me” from Gospel Music Channel (just in case you missed it on iTicket’s last week), and speaking of iTickets, you can download three southern gospel tracks from the NQC Live Volume 8 CD, a live album recorded at the National Quartet Convention. It’s not the typical stuff you’d see on TFCMB, but hey, it’s free, so if southern gospel is your thing, you’ll probably want to check it out.

Free Music from KJ-52
Check the above widget for a free download of KJ-52′s “Firestarter”, featuring Manwell & Bianca Reyes of Group 1 Crew. But wait! There’s more! After you’ve downloaded that, you can also grab two large mixtapes from KJ at his podcasting website, one based on The Yearbook and one based on 52 Television. Both are free, and are looking pretty snazzy. Enjoy!
Summer Festival Sampler 2009
Yes, you heard me right, yet another summer sampler from Tooth & Nail/BECrecordings/Solid State. This one might not be as big and make your head explode, but it still contains some good music. Also, many of these songs were already on the previous Sampler Matt posted just two days ago, but, this one does have a few songs that were not. Of the twelve songs, 7 of them are on the Fuel Sampler. Track listing:
- Emery – Cutthroat Collapse
- Thousand Foot Krutch – Bring Me To Life
- Kutless – The Rescue
- FM Static – Boy Moves to a New Town with Optimistic Outlook
- The Glorious Unseen – Hear Our Prayers
- Falling Up – Streams of Woe at Acheron
- KJ-52 – Wake Up
- Hawk Nelson – Lets Dance Dojo Dominating Remix by Jason Dunn
- Since October – Guilty
- August Burns Red – Thirty and Seven
- Seventh Day Slumber – Take Everything
- Children 18:3 – All My Balloons
Anyway, even if you did get the Fuel Sampler, the remaining five songs on the Summer Festival Sampler ’09 make it all the worth while to download. Besides, what do you have to lose?

It also says that the ‘The Rescue’ is done by an artist called by the same name. However, when I downloaded it, it came out as Kutless. I haven’t heard of an artist by the name by ‘The Rescue’, so I believe it was just an error.
Hip-Hop Overdose
Hip-hop fans rejoice! I have hundreds of free Christian rap songs. Seriously, what I’m about to tell you about is the biggest amount of gospel hip-hop I’ve ever seen in one spot before.
The website is SphereOfHipHop.com. They have a unbelievable amount of free music. It’s crazy. It’s awesome. From Applejaxx to YSG-Timothy, they have it all. Due to the amount of music available, I won’t try to name all the artists. They do have awesome tracks from John Reuben, KJ-52, GRITS, the Cross Movement, Verbs, Playdough, and LA Symphony. Really, you need to see it for yourself. I recommend just picking something that looks interesting and downloading away.
Even if you aren’t big on rap, you still may like some of the songs on the list. For example, “Are You Real?” by KJ-52 featuring Kutless is an anthematic rock song which was featured on the X series. Also, John Reuben and Matt Thiessen of Relient K did an awesome, ridiculously catchy song called “Nuisance”. And then there’s LA Symphony’s “Timeless”… I highly recommend all three to everyone.
Another awesome part of the list is the exclusive songs. Even if you own every Christian hip-hop CD ever, you can probably find some new music. Lots of remixes, and instrumentals. Even a few Christmas songs! It’s just awesome.
The Rock Brigade
Another online sampler from Tooth & Nail, Solid State, and BEC. It has new songs from Anberlin, Haste the Day, KJ-52, Seventh Day Slumber, The Almost, The Send and more. You have to have a Hearitfirst account to access the downloads, but, in addition, if you have a account, they’ll send you a another free download once a week. Hearitfirst is actually pretty interesting. It’s a website that’s run by the whole Christian music industry, so they have tons of neat stuff from almost every artist you can hear on you average radio station.
Update: The sampler has sadly been removed. Thankfully, there’s plenty more music out there…
