Need A Little Twang?

Need a little twang?  I can hook you up.  People Magazine is giving away a free 11-song country music iTunes sampler until August, and it includes “Come to Jesus” from Point of Grace’s new country album, No Changin’ Us, plus “If I Die Young” by The Band Perry.  Here’s the full listing:

• Merle Haggard – “How Did You Find Me Here”
• Jaron and The Long Road to Love – “Pray for You”
• Court Yard Hounds – “The Coast”
• Trailer Choir – “Rollin’ Through The Sunshine”
• The Band Perry – “If I Die Young”
• Thompson Square – “Let’s Fight”
• Chely Wright – “Snow Globe”
• Point of Grace – “Come to Jesus”
• Rockie Lynne – “Heroes Come From Small Towns”
• 4Troops – “Angel”
• Jamie Tate feat. 82nd Airborne All American Chorus – “I’ll Give My All”

Out of that list, Point of Grace is the only Christian band, but it’s worth noting that The Band Perry has some ties to Christian music, and “If I Die Young” is a good clean, if sad, song, which I’d recommend.  The others are all (as far as I know) mainstream, but if you like the genre, they still might be worth a listen.  One last thing – the songs are delivered via iTunes, so you’ll need to have an iTunes account and the software to download them.  Enjoy!
