Todd Agnew
The Weekly Downloads: Dec. 1 ~ Dec. 7
I’m seeing a lot more Christmas music this week, with almost all of my regular websites featuring at least one Christmas song, plus a sprinkling of normal music for a decent week all around.
First up, iTickets has two free songs, The Sonflowerz’s Christmas song “Beautiful Miracle” and an early Jonny Diaz song called “You Are A Storm”. “You Are A Storm” is actually back from Jonny’s independant days, from an album called They Need Love. Check it out!
Also free this week, Video Rocket has John Reuben’s zany music video for “Town Folk”. It’s actually a retelling of a several stories from the Old Testament, in a rather crazy, but still entertaining way. Worth getting for sure.

Next up, Gospel Music Channel has two free downloads this week, a Christmas song from Trin-i-tee 5:7 and the radio edit version of Shane & Shane’s great song “Everything is Different”.

FreeCCM.com has got a free Christmas song from Todd Agnew called “Did You Know?”, from Todd’s Christmas album Do You See What I See?. FreeCCM is supposed to be featuring exclusively Christmas music this week, so I’m holding my breathe for Stellar Kart’s “Punk the Halls”.

Last but not least this week, New Release Tuesday has a free download of Kari Jobe’s “Adore Him”, and if you missed it last week, you can also download Dreampilot’s song “Comedown” – which, as I said before, is a very catchy song. Enjoy!

Well, that wraps up this week – look for more music on Tuesday!
The Weekly Downloads: Nov. 3 ~ Nov. 9
Anther week, another batch of downloads – some really good ones too!
Without a doubt, the biggest free download this week is from Steven Curtis Chapman. You can download his latest single, “Heaven Is the Face”, from Tangle.com. It’s an amazing, beautiful song, enough said. Don’t miss it.
Though it can’t top “Heaven Is The Face”, iTickets does have two good song available for free this week, Paul Baloche’s song “Glorious” and Kelly Clinger’s song “What You See In Me”.
Next up, if you like your music a little louder, VideoRocket has the debut music video for new Tooth & Nail band The Letter Black. It’s for the song “Hanging By A Thread”, and it’s pretty cool. Check it out!

It’s hard to believe Christmas is coming up so fast, but it is, and Gospel Music Channel has the Christmas music to prove it – specifically, Ayiesha Woods’ version of “Jingle Bells”. As it turns out, Ayiesha actually has whole Christmas album coming out, called Christmas Like This, a play off her last album’s title, Love Like This.
Here’s something new: FreeCCM.com has totally updated their website! It’s now a blog-type format, with new downloads every week. They’ve got three weeks worth of downloads up right now, with songs from Todd Agnew, Fee, and The Afters – some pretty cool stuff. You do need to sign up for the website again, even if you were signed up previously.

Last, but definitely not least this week, New Release Tuesday has a new song by Plumb. It’s called “Hold On”, and it’s one of the new tracks from Plumb’s latest greatest hits collection, entitled Beautiful History. I’m pretty excited about Beautiful History myself, primarily because it has two disks, the second of which is full of remixes. Very cool stuff indeed!
The Weekly Downloads: Oct. 20 ~ Oct. 26
Another week, another batch of downloads – here’s what’s fresh:

iTickets has two free songs from Lincoln Brewster and a band called Constant Recourse, with “God You Reign” and “Hold On”, respectively. Also, if one freebie from Lincoln Brewster isn’t enough for you, you can also download the live music video for Lincoln’s song “Today is the Day” from VideoRocket. Check it out!

Also free this week is new worship artist Unhindered’s song “You Are My Creator”, available from Gospel Music Channel. You might remember Unhindered from HearItFirst.com’s Rocktober promotion, where “You Are My Creator” was also featured. (Actually, on that note, if you haven’t checked out Rocktober, you should soon – October isn’t going to last much longer.) Anyway, if you don’t have the song yet, it’s worth getting, after all, it’s free!

If there are any Todd Agnew fans reading this right now, and I’m talking about you, you might want to check out Tangle.com this week, since they have a free download of Todd’s song “Did You Mean Me?”. It’s from Todd’s brand new CD, Need, and it’s yours free this week. Enjoy!
Last but not last this week is the title track from Desperation Band’s latest project Light Up the World. That song just happens to be available from New Release Tuesday, which you can check out at the link below:

As you can see, it’s pretty much a CCM week, so if that’s your style, you’re in luck. As it stands, I’m pretty happy to have the Lincoln Brewster video. And of course, even if you couldn’t find anything you like this week, there’s alway next week. Till then, this is Matt, signing off!
Free Songs from Phillips, Craig and Dean
Today I’ve got a couple of free songs from the long time CCM trio, Phillips, Craig and Dean. These three full-time pastors have been singing together since 1991 and are still releasing new albums, which is a thought that blows my mind. Anyway, you might have heard their latest single, “Revelation Song.” In fact, I believe it is currently the #1 played song across the nation on Christian radio. Sadly, this is not the song that is available for a free download.
However, you can get three other great songs from this worship trio. Two from their recently released “Fearless” album and one from their previous album “Top of My Lungs.” The three songs are from three different sites, Tangle.com, GospelMusicChannel.com, and FreeCCM.com. Be sure you pick each of them up!
-“Spirit of God” on GospelMusicChannel.com-
-“Nothing To Prove” on Tangle.com-
Also, while you’re at FreeCCM, be sure you pick up free songs from Phil Wickham, Todd Agnew, and Bart Millard.
Speedlinking Thursday: An Introduction
Today’s I’m going to be trying something a bit differently. Instead of writing up individual free-music-sources, I’m going to speedlink them – that is, link either to the download itself or to another blogger who already wrote up the download.
Plus, I’m going to throw in something cool from the archives and maybe a music video or two. Let me know what you think in the comments. Ready, set, speedlink!
1. FreeCCM.com has new free music from Decyfer Down, P.O.D., Caedmon’s Call, and Todd Agnew.
2. Indie Vision Music recently found a sweet sampler featuring War Of Ages, Means, For Today, Kingston Falls, Wrench In The Works, and more. That’s some sick hardcore.
3. “Perservence of the Saints” is a classic music video by the O.C. Supertones. Old school, and awesome.
4. Disciple’s “Back Again” is this week’s blast from the past – great headbanger.
Unexpected Sources of Free Music – Part 1
I know this isn’t totally free, but when a friend emailed me about this, I knew I had to feature it…
ChristianBook.com is got Absolute Smash Hits Volumes 1 & 2, a four disc CD se
t (think a WOW Hits clone), on sale for $5.99. That’s 50 songs for 6 bucks. 50 songs! That’s 8.3472454090150250417362270450751* cents per song. That’s approximately 91 cents cheaper per song then iTunes. Not bad at all, for a collection of some of Christian music’s greatest hits. In fact, it’s a steal. Not as good as free, but almost.
Of course there has to be a downside. In this case it’s the selection. It’s almost all somewhat under-the-radar artists CCM artists. The loudest it get’s in 12 Stones and Skillet. But, that maybe perfect for you, in which case that would be a plus and not a minus. So, anyway, it’s worth checking out.

New HearItFirst Downloads
A while back I mentioned a sampler from HearItFirst.com which was featuring artists from the Winter Jam Tour. Now they’ve changed the line up, and updated it with new songs. The new version has songs from Britt Nicole, Todd Agnew, Neworldson, Josh Wilson, Shawn McDonald. Some of the songs are new, other aren’t. Still, it’s worth checking out.
Not A X2008 Patch!
Remember yesterday when I said would attempt to “patch” X2008 with free music? Well, the downloads I was going to use expired, so I only have two songs of the 6 I was going to feature. Worst part is, I’ve already featured both songs.
However, I do have good news. When I was looking for the songs, I accidentally stumbled upon a brand new HearItFirst.com sampler. It features several of the artists on the Winter Jam tour, including Todd Agnew, Jon Foreman, the Daniel Doss Band, Neworldson, and a brand new song from Sanctus Real!
You do have to be a HearItFirst member to access the songs, but that’s no problem. When you sign up, be absolutely sure that you sign up for the HearItFirst newsletter. Everyweek, you’ll get a free download, delivered right to your email inbox. It’s great. I highly recommend it.
Free Todd Agnew Song
Free music today from Todd Agnew. He has the mp3 of the song “Still Has a Hold” available for download on his Myspace profile. Like most Myspace downloads, you must be a Myspace member to download the song. If you aren’t on Myspace (and not everyone is), your best option is to find a friend who can download it for you.
Christmas Series: Day 3 – Todd Agnew
Free Christmas music today from Todd Agnew. You download “Did You Know?” at FreeCCM.com. The song is from his Christmas CD Do You See What I See. It’s a really nice Christmas song in Todd Agnew’s signature style. It also has some thought provoking lyrics, asking Jesus if He new what was coming when He was born that first Christmas.
Still no electricity here. The ice is melting though…
